Request a Box of Kindness
Who can request a Box of Kindness?
Our Boxes of Kindness are carefully curated to bring comfort, practical support, and a little bit of light to those navigating the toughest days. You can request a box if:
-
You are about to start systemic cancer treatment (such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, or hormonal therapy).
-
You are a loved one, friend, or carer requesting a box on behalf of someone starting these treatments.
-
The recipient lives in the UK and is right at the beginning of their treatment journey.
Important Update: Keeping Kindness Sustainable
We are a small charity based in North Devon. Every single Box of Kindness is packed with lots of kindness, and contains over 30 items with a retail value of close to £200.
Recently we have had an overwhelming surge in requests, we have had to change how we distribute our boxes to ensure our small charity can keep supporting people consistently.
Moving forward, we are focusing our local funding on our immediate community, while introducing a shared-cost model for requests further afield:
Local Deliveries (Within 50 Miles of North Devon)
If the person receiving the box lives within a 50-mile radius of North Devon, the box remains free, funded by our local community donations.
National Deliveries (Rest of the UK)
If the recipient lives outside of our 50-mile North Devon remit, we now kindly ask for a donation of £80 to cover the exact cost of creating the box, plus £7.35 for Royal Mail Tracked 48 postage (Total: £87.35).
Please note: We are incredibly sorry, but we are unable to ship boxes to residents outside of the UK.
Thank you for your understanding
